Hi, Will. With hardwood or laminate, any water is too much water. You should definately stay away from these. There really are some nice tiles available, something for about every taste, but if you don't like it there are other options. Stone and seamless vinyl are two. One thing you might want to check out, depending on your current heating system is underfloor heating. Being able to stand on a nice warm floor and get a heated towel from a towelbar heated by the same system is real luxury. If this is feasible, you really should check out a top of the line flooring and tile store. The choices might surprise you.
