My house is a 70 year old farm house and the past owners have done many interesting and strange things in remodeling and repairing. I am starting to do some renovation work and have a problem with the ceiling in one bathroom. The paint was starting to peel badly and I went at it with a scrapper. I found that it had many areas where the plaster surface had been damaged and repaired using spackle and/or joint compound. These areas are now a major mess and I think I'd like to cover the entire ceiling with some kind of tile or plank system. I would rather not use a drop ceiling, but would like to some up with something that I can apply directly to the ceiling using contruction adhesive or something like that. Do you have any suggestions that you could email me?

Thanks for your help.
