I am writing to inform anyone who is putting in a new bath tub. I recently bought a Lyons bath tub and had it installed a week later the bottom began to crack. When I called Lyons to complain they were very ready to take full credit of their faulty tub. Tracy at Lyons told me that they had been having problems with their tubs. She went on to tell me that the support on the bottom of the tub was made of cardboard and we really should have one made of wood. They did send me a new tub and offered me 500.00 for all my troubles. To bad my contractor wants 750.00. I truly do wonder whose bright idea it was to make a tub with cardboard! Good luck to all and beware of the Lyons cardboard tub.
