I'm in the market for a water retention
channel such as the squidgee by Beaver, however,
the prices that Beaver is charging are exceptionally
high. Beaver asks for $11. for a 4 1/2 ft. section
and $6-7 for each corner and $7 for a tube of glue
that Beaver says you need 1 tube per section.
If you have a normal usage of 100 ft. perimeter
to channel, then your cost will be over $450. for
the material. This simple pvc channel most likely
would cost 40-50 cents per foot and corners $2 each
at a wholesale building supplier and the glue is
nothing so special that it must cost $7 a tube.I
can buy hi-grade silicon for $3.50 A TUBE.
UNFORTUNETLY I HAVE NOT FOUND A SUPPLIER THAT
SELLS SUCH A CHANNEL SOI WENT ON THE INTERNET AND ONLY
WHAT
I FOUND WAS THIS HI-PRICED Beaver product.
Can anyone help and/or suggest how to find a
simple and reasonable priced channel? Thankyou.
