Basement wood floor.

Your plan is fine. Use treated 3/4" for your slickers, shoot them to the floor with a ram set and space them every 8" then you can eliminate the 3/4" plywood. Make sure that your joints break on the slicker. Or put your slickers every 16" and plywood over, then the biggest problem you will have is the bottom step into your basement will have a short riser.
