Basement Waterproofing

Thanks for the good advice. I do have one or two questions
about your answer. 1. Why did you install the pipe 18"
from the wall? 2. You mentioned drilling holes in
cinderblocks. Where are these cinderblocks? My
foundation is 70 yea rs old and is made of 18" thick
stone. I also need to excavate a little in some areas
because there is not enough ceiling height. I am well
over 6' tall and I would like to be able to stand
upright in all areas. BTW, I do have a water problem.
It is definitely a hyrdrostatic pressure problem.
I can see the water coming up through the floor.
