Thanks Steve for your input. I had a gentlemen over to scope out my basement problems. He insists that the best and sure fire way to end leaks is to put the drain tile on the inside of the basement, cutting a hole in the foundation floor and running pipe under neath, and installing a pump. This would involve ripping out all the drywall on the outer walls and removing a shower stall, toilet and sink. He also would put some kind of coating over the foundation walls to seal any possible cracks. His opinion of landscaping or drains on the outer permiter was that it probably will not work, and his way was the best. ( I have already installed gutters and drains pipes) What do you think? I really really do not want my basement ripped up!
