Basement Floor Is Wet

Posted by Larry G. on June 30th, 2001 11:10 AM

A section of my basement is wet due to heevy rain & subsequent ground saturation. The area IS NOT near the outside walls of the house, it is nearer to the center of the house. This tells me that the water is hydrostatically penetrating the floor. The floor is bare concrete, so any waterproofing product used will have a good bond. Can anybody recommend a good quality basement floor waterproofing product. I have considered Dry-Lok, but according to the label, it is not highly recommended for floors. Thanks.
