Hi. I'm putting in a bathroom right now. We ripped up our cement floor so you may not want to go this way. If you do and you need to flush up you need a basin and pump. The basin is as big as a trash barrell -- about 3 feet deep. The pump sits in the bottom and a pipl runs into the basin all of your water, sewage, etc. When the float gets to a certain level the pump kicks it up to the sewer line. You can also buy a pump that sits on the floor of your basement - they cost about $600 - the one we got cost $350 but it grinds the toilet waste. If you get one that sits on the floor, you need about 7 inches. We didn't have head room for that so we went for the in-ground one. It's being worked on this week - will let you know how it goes. Denise
