Baseboard heating

Posted by Ed Douglas on July 21st, 2001 10:55 PM

I'm in the planning stages of putting in a raised panel system along a wall in my living room, like wainscoting but higher. Presently, this same wall has a slant/fin baseboard hot water radiator on it. Frankly, it's pretty ugly and I'd like to replace it with something that will blend in with the cherry paneling that will be on the wall. I'd like something with a narrow profile at very least. I've seen on TV radiators with a simulated wood finish that are thin and might fit the bill. I've done a power search for examples with a couple search engines without much luck. I'd like to see examples of what options might be available to me before I get started on this project. I'd appreciate any information from anyone who can help. Thanks,
