baseboard heat

Thanks for the feedback. I suspected hot water would be better, but since this will be a new installation in an old house (with no basement - just crawl space) I thought it might be easier to do electric and get the zonal heating we were looking for. We will be supplementing with wood heat, so may only need the heating for backup. Bruce, do you think your problems are from old equipment, or that it's just the nature of the beast? On a logical level, why would the heat from a water pipe disburse any better than that from electric fins? Thanks again for your help!
