Inside corners will pull apart when you nail them. To fit an inside corner cut the baseboard at 45 degrees now when you look at the cut you will see that the cut line on the outside of the baseboard follows the contour of the material. Using a coping saw cut along this contour "carefully" it will now fit aginst the baseboard of the intersecting wall. Practice on some scrap first.
