barrier-free shower stall

Posted by Jake on March 23rd, 2000 07:04 PM

I'm trying to move my mother into a retirement community in MA and the sticking point is that they have a bathtub. I want to put in a shower stall that isn't a tiny cubicle. Don't know whether to have one made (tile) or to buy a modular type unit. I've tried to find info on line and found Kohler and Maax product so far.The community's contractor wants ME to send them brochures, so I'm scrounging for help. You'd think with a geriatric group of 80 years plus that they would have come across this situation before! And the apartment is supposed to be wheelchair accessible with a bath tub in it!Does anyone have any suggestions of websites for barrier-free shower stalls? Thanks!
