Bad tecture/painting surface

Posted by Stacey on February 11th, 2002 09:05 AM

I removed the wallpaper from my kitchen walls in hopes of painting them. The area between my cupboards and counter, and around the the window above my sink, looks bad. I guess the drywall is covered, but it's not tectured at all and there are places that will really show when painted. I would like to use a satin finish. I don't think that rolling on a tecture is an option because there is not enough room around the window, etc.
Should I apply a wallpaper that can be painted over? What a pain!
Thanks so much!
