I am looking for custom attic stairs. I have a 10'
ceiling in the closet, and I had Bessler folding attic stairs installed. Unfortunately, the height and weight of these stairs makes them impossible for me to access. I investigated the sliding stairs by Bessler, but I only have 5'2" clearance in the attic because of a header in the way. What I really need is a combination of sliding with the last section folding, so that I can use the space in the attic I have. Does anyone know where I can get such a product, or do I have to have this custom made? (Bessler told me that a company called Hollywood stairs used to make these, but that they are out of business).
