I am remodeling my attic and I had originally planned to run baffles all the way from the soffit to the peak. I planned to leave a small cavity that ran from gable to gable and install gable vents to allow a nice flow of air. My house has no attic venting. It was built in 1920 and has a slate roof. From the best of my knowledege, it appears the the roof vents through the small spaces between each piece of slate. IS what i am doing going to be sufficent? Should i poke holes in the baffles to accomodate your formentioned problem?
