Is there any health danger by having asbestos slate siding on my home. My understanding is that it is a very durable, safe siding and since asbestos is harmful only if the dust particles are enhaled. I would think that asbestos dust would only be a problem if the siding were to be smashed in to small pieces and the dust particles were airborn and breathed in. If this is not correct, please let me know your opinion. I'd also like to know if you agree. THANKS!
