Workers at the GATX facility in Masury, Ohio, have indeed died from a form of lung cancer known as mesothelioma that is known to be caused by exposure to dust containing asbestos. In April 2000, a jury in Trumbull County Ohio (Warren) returned a verdict for the mesothelioma death of Michael Missik (who worked at GATX from 1962 to 1984) for $3.5 million.
