NUTS? No disrespect, but no experiance no equipment???
I know of 2 individuals that took a cabinet making course at a local trade school. Instead of going to work for someone, building up there tools and contacts, they started there own shop, put up a building, equiped it, and thought that jobs would just appear. Needless to say they are now both working for someone else, and there shop just gathers dust (not saw)!
It seems to me that what you need to do is provide financing to a start up as a partner, Find some one who is just starting a business, perhaps check with the local trade schools.
I have been a carpenter for 20 years. I would never watch a tape and expect to start a mortgage company.
