I've held off for as long as I could, but it looks like I'm going to have to replace my old furnace prior to the next heating season. It's an old gas fired forced air 137,000 btu Lennox (built in the mid 70's). The plan is to replace it with a high efficiency (92+) unit of approximately 100,000 btu.
I have had 4 respected HVAC contractors come by, and they are in the process of giving me quotes. I've got the feeling that they all will be within a couple of hundred $'s of each other, so it boils down to a choice between name brands.
The choices I will have are: Carrier, Lennox, Amana, Heil, Frigidaire, and Janitrol (Goodman)
Any opinions or thoughts??
Thanks in advance,
