When you enter the bulliten board, scroll down,
until you see your firts original message of
11-2-97, and click on the message right below it.
I'll answer your question anyway. A pilot hole
is something that you NEED to do. Like when
you fasten two pieces of oak. You need a pilot
hole for your nail so you will not split the wood.
Predrill is the operation of making a pilot hole.
Like I need to predrill for my pilot hole.
