Don't connect to the sewer! In most jurisdictions, it's illegal.

Most folks 'carry' the water to the street or a low spot on the property. You need to consider how much water you may have in a worst-case scenario and determine if you need a gravel pit on the property for the water should you not be able to go anywhere else with the piping.

My best to ya and hope this helps. (The pipe should slope towards the direction you want to carry the water. AT least 1/4" per foot. The 'high' end is capped; the low end is open for obvious reasons.)
