Robbie, absolutely! Make sure to seal your floors with polyurethane. Sand with very fine sandpaper between coats and thoroughly vacuum dust. It takes several days to a week to cure properly. I have 4 dobermans and a dane and my floors look great. Urine will not penetrate the urethane. Nails do slightly scratch the finish but high heels are worse. Just mop with step saver and it gleams.
