John, I couldn't find anything at a site where answers about problems with either stainless steel or hot dip galvanized would have shown up, in all probability. But the same site-- --did bring to mind a couple of things. Be sure that you specify "Western red cedar". White cedar, which is getting expensive and hard to find only has about half the strength of WRC. Many people are allergic to the sawdust. The people that will be sawing and building with it will be more at risk, but wear a good dust mask. Your pets can be allergic, too so keep them out of the work area. And don't let them use WRV for bedding
