I am contemplating buying the series 8500 double hung American Craftsman replacement window (five in all for a bay window). The house is a vintage colonia (circa 1860). All other windows in the house are wood double hung, six-over-six true divided light.

My question is do the American Craftsman windows lend themselves to this type of home or will they cheapen the home's appearance.
