We had a new freeze-proof hydrant and water line installed to our barn (about 300' from house) last fall. Left the hose on the hydrant one night when we had a sudden temperature drop, and there was water frozen at the outlet of the faucet, blocking it.
Since then, we have noticed that we get air in the cold water lines, but only in the upstairs bathrooms, whenever we use the hydrant in the barn.
Would appreciate any input on the nature of and solution to this problem!
