Air Gap

I've seen this several times I've had to fix. A couple things could be wrong (1)the hose running from the airgap to the disposal is too small diameter and can't handle the discharge (2)this same hose is obstructed, not enough to cause a complete shutdown but enough to not be able to handle the volume of discharge from the washer (3)the orifice where the hose connects to the disposal is obstructed. I don't really see how you could seal the airgap. You could get rid of the airgap completely and "high loop" the discharge hose right from the washer to disposal.
