In reply to gable end framing for cathedral ceilings. by mike on February 27th, 2001 10:03 PM [Go to top of thread]

I have a fairly large size project which I'd expect to begin in the spring. I have a one-story, 2 bedroom, one bath house which I would like to add two 14'x 12' bedrooms sharing a full bath with a door on each side leading to each bedroom. I would also like to add a 20'x 26' family room (having lots of windows0, with an oak wood (depending upon cost) peaked cathedral ceiling and an adjoining 1/2 bath. I'd like to remodel the kitchen/dining room and the laundry/patio area to give it a fresh new look and at the same time best utilize the space that is available. I am looking for someone to help me design the best plan to suit my needs as well as my budget. Could you help or do you know of good, reputable design/construction professionals who could assist me with my remodeling ideas. I live in Western Massachusetts.
