Dear Bob:

I love your show! Recently the developer of our new home layed brick along the driveway and walkpath. When doing so I noticed that the brick was much lighter in color than the brick on the house. When I mentioned that the color of the brick did not match the brick on the house, I was told by the developer that the brick had not been "acid washed" yet. It's been several weeks now and the brick is still lighter in color. My question is: Does "acid washing" brick make the color darker?

Thank you for your time, Bob. Have a wonderful day!!!
