I have had this AC/gas furnace unit since 1996 and have had almost a service call on it shortly thereafter. If it is not the AC unit not responding, the gas section does not function properly. Unit was purchased through American Home Shield (my home appliance carrier) and the unit purchased through A-Quality Refrigeration &b Appliance from Mesa , Arizona.. Could it be that the technician did not set this unit up properly. I want to believe this is a good unit, but have not had much success with it. Again the air handler unit is not working. I want to have faith in it, but have been rather dismayed since its purchase. Perhaps a representative from Janitrol needs to contact these people who install the units and make certain they know what is going on.
