Your hvac contractor has recommended Janitrol. They are cheaper and they are also inferior to tempstar and or American Standard. It is up to you. All of these units will work. If the cost difference isn't that dramatic go with anything other than Janitrol/Goodman..they are the same. The contractor is suggesting Janitrol because he makes a better profit margin on them. Unless he is actualy passing on the savings to you, which would be a shocker.
