Well, Tuesday (tomorrow) I'm having the upstairs 20+ yr. old air handler that had a small leak replaced; along with the 9+ yr. old Coleman condenser with the major dryer leak. Besides, the company that is doing the work is also going to re-do some of the duct work that he said wasn't efficient and add a vent to a walk-in closet that didn't have one (and was always hot, since it has a window!). They are putting in 12 SEER Tranes. It is a major expense, but neither unit was very efficient, and it didn't make sense to have the dryer leak repaired (at several hundred $$) and leave the air handler as it was. (Can't repair those aluminum parts.)

I wanted to get a cooler full of ice and sodas for when the workers take a break, even early in the day it gets so hot up in that attic. Do you think that would be a problem??
