motor powered vents since you will be spending money )electricity to save electricity). he suggest more passive attice venting as possible. put in more ridge vents if possible, if not then have turbine vent installed (however, these are more likely to be blown off during the high winds of a hurricane) or just hood type passive vents....and much soffit vents all around your attic space as possible to feed cooler air thru your hot attic. Also if you have gables you might have gable vents installed too. hope this helps. consult a reputable roofer or construction contractor for his suggestions on improving ventilatlion of your attic..
