This is a fairly common problem in the flooring industry these days.
As construction standards change it presents problems for floorcovering products.
Floor trusses are great, but often move too much for a ceramic tile instalation.
This can also be a problem with vinyl flooring as the movement can cause underlayment
seams to "telegraph" through.
Before placeing posts in your basement try this.
Can the floor truses be beefed up? One way to do this is to laminate plywood to the
truss, and then place some blocking between the trusses.
A structeral engineer may be a good idea, to get his suggestions.
The epoxy grout idea is a good one but if the movement isn't fixed the tile may just
crack in the middle of a tile not at a grout joint.
Hope this helps...
