I just had to do the same thing (cut around cabinets to remove old floor). To do this I ended up buying a product made by Bosch power tools - I'm not sure exactly what it was called (FineCut saw??). I bought it at Home Depot for $150 - it includes a flush cut blade that allows you to get right up to the edge of cabinets and cut into the subfloor - it is also fairly easy to judge the depth of your cut. It also comes with a mitre box attachment that basically turns the saw into a mitre saw (which made it worth the $$ for me since I'm going to need one of those next). Basically, the saw worked like a charm and I would highly recommend it for this job.
