1) hang either drywall or Tyvek house wrap on the walls.

2) Sherwin Williams has a new product that is "soundproof paint". Never used it, don't understand how it works, but anyway, check it out.

3) Frame out the entire basement wall area and then apply insulation around framing, then use drywall or Tyvek house wrap.

**the object is to install soft material all around the basement to absorb decibles.
