A Couple Of Removal Ideas ...

Hi Jim,

Pocket doors can be removed in a couple of ways in addition to 'punching through' the wall. (It's really not necessary ...)

Anyways, simply try lifting the door off of its track when it's open. Try again when it's about half-shut. If it doesn't lift off, see if you can access the wheely-thingies that are attached to the door. If they're exposed, perhaps unscrewing them is the answer. The last option, aside from doing a pocketdoor-apondectomy, is to remove the 2 moldings that are FLUSH with the door when it's COMPLETELY open. (SEE Anatomy of a Pocketdoor.)

Other than that, perhaps someone else has some ideas. My best to ya and hope this helps.
