This is strange but we have a concrete wall that is a main wall down our main hallway. This is in terrible need of repair The paint bubbles off and peels. We have a large spot now that is down to the concrete. What is best way to strip and seal this since is inside a "living" area of our home. Also, on top of this problem we have a leak coming from who knows where in a corner of this wall that is up against our bathroom doorway and is now in a small spot loosening the concrete and coming away from the what looks like some kind of metal wire grate. Totally at a loss and husband wants to do this repair himself so we would appreciate any solutions to easily and correctly fix this problem.
Our home has two attics.....one is usable the other we do not use. We are unable to see to the spot where the leak must be coming in so cannot pin point the point on the roof that the leak is coming thru.
We are at our wits in and do plan to replace entire roof but that is another question as well. Our home is stucco and a previous owner some years ago built on to this home but did not match up the points to the roof. If we replace the roofing shingles and any wood on roof that needs replaced will this take care of leaks or will it just be a matter of time until they come back again? We have thought about taking entire roof off and building new one that is evenly matched as should have been OR building over the entire roof instead. Any suggestions or advise???
