We layed armstorng laminate swiftlock flooring in Jan 2003 - in early FEB we noticed it buckling. We called Armstrong and they played phone tag with us, the homestore we bought it from and another game which rep to send out that whole month. The floor worsened. In March the homestore ep came out and took pictures and went back to talk to Armstrong. The floor worsened, a piece of flooring has popped up entirely, there are two dark stained pieces of flooring, little chips in the wood and their excuses 1) it is our fault because we layed it 2) oh! it is the rainy weather 3) you pull it and fix it. Well we refused too at this pt seeing that it had worsened and there was a possibility of this floor of being destroyed now. We insisted on an Armstorong professional to come out regardless they did this APRIL - took them that long. The floor continues to worsen. They fd a spot where we had not left a 1/4 inch and from that is their explanation for the whole mess. One spot? Who will fix it? We have refused to put in a penny more. I run a daycare in this house there is a liability that stands on my head if one of the children ever trip on that piece? It looks terrible with the two blotched parts and the chipped parts - ofcourse no explanation there from them. They want us to pull out all the mouldings and inspect other "pinch pts" so we could do damage to this floor and they will simply not take any part in it. OH! lets not forget this color of floor has been discontinued how about that for an icer!!!!!!
