Pam, Hi", Construction is a mans world, and its can give "you" problems and I feel you have the brains but not the lifting power,so for you to make your mark in life, it would be better for you to give the orders and not take them,(if you know what I mean,).. You do it my way.. or its the highway, and when you have the power to say that then, you have made your mark.. You have an emphasis in preservation, but of what,??,examples further down the letter,. Concrete is a big,and I mean big world, from dams, to counter tops?, and it can be hard keeping up with all the new ideas that come every month, so set your sight on one field of work. (what you want to do ). but you are not going to learn about concrete in six months, (maybe in six years). and if you want to try it,,then go for it. Preservation..what do you want to work on. paintings,?, housing/buildings ?? My field was woodworm and dryrot, first in the field, then in the office, then meeting with the client and their problems, with what I learned from that, I was able to get a job overseas working with people in ungodly places, I now have a company of my own and do a lot of work overseas in construction. Remember,,, do what you want, and if it feels good, then it is. John 2000.
