painting brick church-------best paint/strain

Posted by Sherri on September 19th, 1999 12:32 PM

This message is posted in behalf of my brother who is working to help restore a historic 126 year old church in PA. The building behind the original church is brick and the church is stone. The brick structure had been painted to match the stone years and years ago. They have taken on the task of repainting. The old paint has been removed and the question is.....

They want to use the best paint/strain to match the stone, something that will bear weather and last a long time.

Any input would be most appreciated!!
