It's only money, I guess. The cost per gallon at that rate is $.0013, and that assumes it happens all in one month. Most of what I read said you only need to do it during July August and September, so that reduces the total cost by 2/3 anyway. Hard to justify a hi-tech foundation on that basis. On the other hand, if you live in tornado country...

Forget I said anything. You still won't see a soaker hose under my foundation, I don't ever plan to live in Texas, much to the relief of Gutterless.

Everything I said at the time still applies, though. MOST (most being in excess of half) of the country (geographically speaking) doesn't need to worry about soaker hoses or have the "luxury" of not needing gutters. Unless they tell me otherwise, the crusade continues...
