If you screw Formica to the rafters, do you paint it white before or after you install it?

It would be OK to paint the formica AFTER you install it. All you need is a pry bar and some gloves to remove the sheathing from the roof-side first. This method, of course, is only appropriate if you HAVEN'T put down the tar paper and shingles yet. Oh, and don't forget to re-install the sheathing ...

Is it true that the last time you used a paper tiger you had to get 5 gallons of spackle to cover all the little pinpricks?

Actually, I use toothpaste for those little 'nicks'. There's no sanding required. The drying time is 1/4th that of spackle so you can paste, prime, AND paint in 1 day ...
