If, as I suspect, the door switch is the line side switch, then you'll have to rerun the wire from the ceiling fan to the switch by the bed which is your load side switch. The wire that feeds the switched side of your receptacles (duplex receptacles split for top switched, bottom hot all the time, right?) needs to be rerouted to the ceiling fan for you to continue to use your 3way setup to a new load.
