i have a question. i am remodling the basement and adding some lights and switches to it. now, the problem starts with the basement entrance, i have a light and a switch at the top of the stairs, and that switch controls the light on top and the one on the bottom of the stairs. the wiring for the switch at the bottom of the stairs has been completed , i just don't know how to connect them.
the wires i have are, 2 yellow ones twisted together, same with 2 white ones, a single red one that has been taped on the end, one that has 2 red and a black twisted together, and a red and black twisted together. now after looking at that, i was lost.. i hope that their is enough info. to help you understand what i am talking about and you to give me some assistence on how to wire all of these together.
thank you
