I have a house which has two ceiling light fixtures
in an upstairs hallway. There are three switches,
one at the bottom of the stairs, one at the top of
the stairs and the third at the end of the hall.
All three have the ability to turn the lights on or
off.

The wiring comming out of the switch boxes is 2
black wires and one red wire. Could you send me
a diagram of how this system works? Two switches
have three connections. The third at the top of
the stairs has four wires.

My husband took it apart and now can't seem to get
it working again... HELP! The switch with four
wires has not been disturbed, and we have the parts
to the other two which worked prior to this
"experiment"

Thanks Leann

PS I have a multi meter and all tools necessary just
can't make sense of it!!!!!! :
