We are in the middle of sectioning off and building an entire bathroom. I've learned many things. First, pre-fab shower manufacturers are not required to abide by code. Contractors and homeowners are to abide by code. So, what you purchase may not be to code for your state. Abiding the code, I'm losing about a foot of shower space.
So, with that in mind, I've chose a shower pan. I'll be using backerboard and tiling my walls for my shower. Tile is a classy look and you chose your demensions. We have to do what it takes. Good luck to you.
