If you are not familiar with wiring, this may prove too difficult to attempt on your own.

220 is basically 2 hot 110's combined and changing it (or adding a new line) requires some additonal wiring in the box, running the wires and securing the 220 capable outlet to the wall for the combo unit.

Any one of these is potentially deadly if you are not experienced.
