My new to me home has an existing built-in display cabinet with two LED puck lights and a touch pad dimmer switch. I replaced the LED bulbs and the lights work. However, the touch pad does not appear to work at all. The single wire for the touch pad exits the cabinet through a small hole. I can not access the wiring behind the cabinet. Do you think I could purchase a new touch pad dimmer (Utilitech #0026104), cut the wires and attach the new dimmer wire to the old wire?
