Original Civil War Colt 1849 pocket revolver pistol
NO PAPERWORK OR LISCENSE REQUIRED FOR ANTIQUE GUNS This is a spectacular original antique Colt 1849 pocket Civil War era revolver for $4,495.00 (was $4,995.00). Serial number in 108,000 range is on frame, trigger guard, cylinder and wedge etc. so all numbers match and date of manufacture was mid 1850's. The gun's original wood grips look virtually new with virtually 100% of original varnish in tact. The trigger guard and back strap also retain virtually 100% of the original silver plating with no wear through. The engraved stage coach cylinder scene is still extremely sharp and deep all around and is 100% complete as far as I can tell and is still deep. The action is very tight (LIKE NEW) and the tiny cylinder pins are still intact and show little if any wear. I don't think this gun saw much use if any. The gun still exhibits the dark original finish although somewhat mottled in spots. This is a nice honest antique Colt pocket in excellent working condition (like new) and with terrific eye appeal. Very rare to find these guns in this condition with complete stage coach scene still so vivid. Insurance available at $1.00/$100.00 value. More pics. available upon request.
